Association, Intimacy, Friendship, Acquaintance, Familiarity or Knowledge?

So there may be association in business without intimacy or friendship. As regards studies, pursuits, etc., acquaintance is less than familiarity, which supposes minute knowledge of particulars, arising often from long experience or association.
